Turn your Jira history into R&D tax credit evidence

Claimship reads the issues, epics, and sprints in your Jira projects to document the technical work behind your product.

What Claimship reads from Jira

Claimship connects to the Jira projects you choose and reads issues: summaries, descriptions, comments, and the custom fields your team fills in.

It reads epics too, which link related issues to a larger technical effort, and sprints, which place issues inside a specific time window.

Claimship also reads issue history: status transitions, reopenings, and linked issues such as blockers or duplicates. That history often shows where a team hit a technical wall and had to change course.

The evidence it extracts

Epics tie issues to a research effort

An epic groups the issues behind a feature or technical initiative, which helps Claimship evaluate the effort as a whole against the four-part test.

Issue transitions show iteration

An issue that moves back from In Review to In Progress, more than once, is a record of testing an approach and finding it didn't work.

Sprint history places work in the tax year

Sprints map issues to specific date ranges, which supports the expense calculation for the correct filing period.

Comments capture technical discussion

Notes engineers leave on an issue, including questions about feasibility or approach, add detail the four-part test rewards.

Permissions

Read-only by design

Claimship can read your data. It cannot write, change, or delete anything in your tools. The one exception is the payroll credit push, which you approve first.

You choose the scope

Pick the repos, projects, and channels we can see. Skip anything sensitive. The study only uses what you share.

Revoke anytime

Disconnect a tool in one click from your dashboard or from the tool itself. Syncing stops immediately.
